FIU Legislative Priorities
Each year FIU’s upcoming legislative priorities are determined by an open, transparent selection process. Listed below are those projects and issues on which FIU’s Office of Governmental Relations will concentrate its efforts. FIU’s participation and development of these and other projects enhance the University’s nationwide reputation and stature. They also provide important workforce training and professional development for FIU’s students, enabling them upon graduation to be nationally competitive, as well as opening substantial new jobs for the local community, Florida and the nation.
