Each year during the legislative session, a delegation of FIU students, alumni, faculty and administrators, including the President and Board of Trustees, descend upon Tallahassee in an effort to promote FIU’s legislative agenda and secure state funding. The decade old tradition was started to give students and the University community a way to engage with lawmakers and voice their concerns about the issues that affect FIU.
The 13th Annual FIU Day will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Tallahassee, Florida. To be a part of FIU Day, contact the office of Governmental Relations at 305-348-3505.
On-campus, in Miami and right from your phone, you can voice your support and show your FIU spirit. If you are on campus between 11 AM and 2 PM, stop by theChapman Plaza on MMC or Panther Square on BBC for giveaways and more information about FIU's priorities and how to get further involved!
