FIU Day 2018

Each year during the legislative session, a delegation of FIU students, alumni, faculty and administrators, including the President and Board of Trustees, descend upon Tallahassee in an effort to promote FIU’s legislative agenda and secure state funding. The decade old tradition was started to give students and the University community a way to engage with lawmakers and voice their concerns about the issues that affect FIU.

The 15th Annual FIU Day will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Tallahassee, Florida. To be a part of FIU Day, contact the Office of Governmental Relations at 305-348-3505.

On-campus, in Miami, and right from your phone, you can voice your support and show your FIU spirit. If you are on campus between 10 AM and 2 PM on February 7th, stop by the GC Pit at MMC or Panther Square at BBC for giveaways and more information about FIU's priorities and how to get further involved!
